 From the Director:
I can hardly believe we recently celebrated the one year anniversary of the opening of "M*A*S*H", our very first production. I am so excited about what we have accomplished as a theatre family and am even more excited as I look down the road towards our upcoming season. I believe our 2012 schedule offers actors, the stage crew, and most importantly the theatre audience a wide variety of choices ranging from family entertainment ("You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown") to intense adult dramas ("Frankie & Johnny in the Clair De Lune"). To the North State Theatre Audiences who have embraced our Theatre Group and given us wings and to the Corporate and Media partners who understood our goals and helped us to reach our audiences I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to my theatre family, over 120 of you who have given of your time and your talent, I have never been so proud to associate myself with such a talented and passionate group of people in my life. You continue to raise the bar and I applaud each and every one of you.
I would be remiss if I did not thank two people who have supported me from the beginning. They were there when starting this Theatre Group was just a dream of mine offering their support and creative talent, our Executive Producer Tracy Shoemaker and our Costume Designer Claire Low. They have been involved in every single show and I thank you both for your passion and your friendship.
I realize that I use the word passion quite often when I talk about the theatre because I believe that is what draws all of us together. The Actors, the Crew the theatre going public. We all share this passion. I don't believe anything equals live theatre in its ability to move people emotionally, to help shape opinion and stimulate conversation.
Again, I thank you for supporting the arts and I'll see you at the theatre.

Some interesting first year numbers:
- Of the five plays staged we had two musicals ("Happy Days", "The Last Five Years"), one comedy ("M*A*S*H"), and two dramas ("True West", "Miss Julie").
- 65 different Actors have appeared on stage in WE Multimedia productions.
- 63 Production staff were utilized in the staging of the plays.
- Proceeds from performances benefitted Westside Performing Arts after school Program, Riverfront Playhouse Capital Campaign, and the Shasta County Arts Council.
